Platja de la Farella del Mig is a pleasant small beach located in Llançà (Llanca), Girona, Spain on the Costa Brava. It’s the middle section of the larger La Farella beach area, separated from the main part by a small rocky promontory that juts into the sea.
The shore is about 260 m long and quite narrow (≈10 m), made up of fine sand mixed with small pebbles, and it slopes gently into the water — ideal for swimming, especially when the sea is calm. The water is typically clean and invites swimmers, and there are remains of an old work platform/trampoline out in the water that some people use for dives when the sea is calm.
Access to the beach is straightforward: there’s a public parking area, access for people with reduced mobility, and it’s reachable both by car and on foot via the coastal Camí de Ronda path. Public transport also serves the beach area.
Amenities include toilets and marked swimming zones; there’s no indication of big commercial facilities like bars or rentals right on the beach, but it’s close to the centre of Llançà where you’ll find cafés and shops. The beach can be moderately busy in summer, offering a relaxed but lively seaside experience.
