Platja de Grifeu is a small but attractive beach on the Costa Brava, known for its relaxed, semi-urban setting and clear Mediterranean waters. It stretches about 170 metres long and 30 metres wide, with very fine golden sand and a gently sloping seabed, which makes entering the water easy and comfortable.
For swimming, it is generally a very good beach. The water is usually clean and transparent, thanks to strong environmental controls, and the waves tend to be moderate rather than rough. This makes it suitable for most swimmers, including families, although it can get quite busy in summer. The calm conditions and clear visibility also make it a nice spot for snorkelling and other light water activities.

Also there are bars and restaurants nearby, plus parking right by the beach and access for people with reduced mobility.
