Platja del Cros is a charming, semi-urban cove located in the northern part of Llançà, tucked between the port and the Cap de Bol area. It is characterized by its clear, calm waters and a shoreline composed of a mix of dark sand, gravel, and small pebbles, which keeps the water exceptionally transparent.

For swimming, it is an excellent choice, especially for those who prefer a tranquil environment over the more crowded main beaches. The sea here is usually sheltered from strong winds, making the water surface flat and inviting. It is a fantastic spot for snorkeling, as the rocky edges of the cove house a variety of Mediterranean marine life. However, because of the pebbles, wearing water shoes is highly recommended for a more comfortable entry into the sea.

In terms of amenities, Del Cros offers a “wilder” feel while remaining accessible. It features showers and regular cleaning services during the high season. While it lacks on-site bars or sunbed rentals, its proximity to the town center means restaurants and shops are just a short walk away. It is also dog-friendly during specific periods, making it a favorite for pet owners.
