Platja El Morer is a small, quiet beach on the Costa Brava, offering a more relaxed and natural atmosphere compared to busier nearby beaches. It is only about 80 metres long and quite narrow, with a mix of coarse sand, pebbles, and some rocky areas both on the shore and seabed.
For swimming, the beach has very clear, clean water and is generally calm, making it pleasant for a dip or for snorkeling—especially because of the rich underwater life around the rocks. However, the entry into the sea can be quite steep in places, and the seabed is partly rocky, so you need to be a bit careful, particularly with children or less confident swimmers. Overall, it’s better suited to confident swimmers and those who enjoy exploring the water rather than purely sandy, shallow bathing areas.
In terms of amenities, it is a more natural, minimally developed beach with few services, emphasizing its peaceful character. Access to the beach is very easy down a well made slope.
